Rules and Safety Guidelines

  1. Fees must be paid to the instructor, and release signed  prior to hike. (No exceptions)
  2. Children must be at least 10 years old and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  3. Dogs must be on a 6' leash, waste picked up, in control by the owner, & not a nuisance to others.
  4. Stretching should be done before the hike begins, & class will leave within 10 minutes of start time.
  5. Participants must be in good health, moderately active, and physically fit to walk 60 minutes.
  6. Women who are expecting should not be over 3 months into their pregnancy.
  7. Drinking water should be carried and consumed as needed. (No smoking)
  8. Clothing should be comfortable, sunscreen, hats & glasses are recommended..
  9. Shoes are very important and arerequired to hike.  (Trail shoes or Hiking boots)
  10. Cell phones are allowed, but only used as needed, please.
  11. Earphones are okay to listen to music, but be able to listen to the trail guide.
  12. Please stay with the hiking group, and on the trail.
  13. Be courteous to others, obey signs, and trail regulations.
  14. Please inform the trail guide if there are any problems.

This might be just what you need to relieve some stress and get your heart pumping when you join this hiking group.  Jan is a fun trail hiking guide for people with different experience levels, with trails ranging from easy to challenging.  Trails may be along the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean,or in the hills of South Orange County with amazing views. Walk on hidden trails in the cities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, San Clemente, and San Juan Capistrano.  So, get your backpack on and let's get going on some beautiful trails, and enjoy good conversations with interesting people!  You can walk and talk and improve your fitness with a healthier lifestyle.
